Michaela Rebbeck


Michaela has been an associate with QFI Consulting since 2010.  She works internationally with executives and senior managers, focusing on:


• Developing and executing corporate strategy through organisation-wide engagement 

• Developing and embedding individual and organisational learning 

• Developing progressive organisational cultures 

• Developing individual and collective leadership capabilities


Countries where Michaela has worked include: Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, DR Congo, Dubai, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Hungary, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Singapore, the former Soviet Union, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, Turkey, Uganda, UK, the Ukraine, and USA.


Michaela started her professional career as a civil and then criminal lawyer.  After moving to the UK, Michaela worked as a journalist, first for the guardian and then the BBC.  In parallel, she worked as an interpreter for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and also as a coach to the businessmen and diplomats ahead of their posting in Central Europe.


Michaela joined Ashridge Consulting, part of the Ashridge Business School, more than ten years ago and was a member of its leadership team for more than seven years.  She also teaches and examines on the Ashridge Masters in Executive Coaching and the Ashridge Masters and Doctorate in Organisation Consulting.


Michaela holds a PhD in Criminal Law from the Charles University in Prague. Following law, Michaela undertook doctoral studies in philosophy and economics.  She holds an MA in Philosophy and Psychology of Language from the University of London, an MBA from the City University, and an MSc in Organisation Consulting from the Middlesex University.  Michaela is fluent in English, Czech and Russian, and has some knowledge of most European languages
